Saying that the second number of the yearbook of the Deutscher National-Vereins f[ür] M[usik] u[nd] ih[re] W[issenschaft] contains a gross error, that in fact the Erhard Singverein, a year earlier, after six months of study, had already given a private performance of [Mendelssohn's] Paulus, that it was then given at subscription concerts, describing the rehearsals, mentioning the choral director Leibnitz, etc.
